    Deep Purple

    Runtime: 1 hr 58 min

1984 saw the long-awaited reunion of the classic Deep Purple Mark II line-up of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice. It was the first time they had been together since 1973. They recorded a brand new studio album, "Perfect Strangers" and headed out on tour. This show was filmed in Sydney, Australia and is the only full length concert film of the band at this time. It's a stunning concert with the band in incendiary form. The setlist mixes then new tracks from the "Perfect Strangers" album with favorites from the early seventies culminating in the brilliant "Smoke On The Water" finale. This is without doubt one of the finest Deep Purple concerts ever filmed and a must have for their legions of fans.

  • Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970

    The Doors

    Year: 1970

    Runtime: 1 hr 6 min

August, 1970: With Jim Morrison's ongoing Miami obscenity trial casting an ominous shadow over the band, The Doors flew to England to play the Isle of Wight Festival. Waiting for them at "The Last Great Festival" were over 600,000 fans who had already torn down the barriers, crashed the gates, and enjoyed performances by the world's top acts such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Miles Davis and Joni Mitchell. The Doors took the stage at 2 am, playing with the weight of the trial on their backs, and showed fans they still had the magic that had propelled them to the top during the Summer of Love. "We played with a controlled fury and Jim was in fine vocal form," said Doors organist Ray Manzarek. "He sang for all he was worth, but moved nary a muscle. Dionysus had been shackled." Less than a year later, The Doors were no more. Here, for the very first time, is the last Doors concert ever filmed. The Doors: Live at the Isle of Wight.

  • No Bull

    AC/DC

    Year: 2016

    Runtime: 2 hr 15 min

Very much a follow up to their 1991 concert film masterpiece Live At Donington, No Bull was designed to capture the over-the-top spectacle that was the 1996 Ballbreaker tour. The renowned director David Mallet once again used film to document the proceedings, this time at the Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas bullfighting arena in Madrid, Spain. Ultimately rushed for release in 1996 for the home video market, Mallet was always unhappy with the results of the final product. Until now. The film has been completely re-edited in HD, and the audio remixed in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound for the ball breaking experience it was always meant to be.

  • Live in Munich 1977

    Rainbow

    Year: 1976

    Runtime: 1 hr 53 min

Rainbow was formed by Ritchie Blackmore in 1975 after he left Deep Purple at the height of their fame. They were instantly successful and released a string of hit albums, with an ever changing line-up, between 1975 and 1983 when Blackmore broke up the group to join the reformed Deep Purple. This concert from their European tour in 1977 features the line-up responsible for the Long Live RocknRoll album released later that year, including vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Cozy Powell. Blackmore had to be smuggled out of Austria after a trouble with the police at a gig two nights earlier and was very late arriving in Munich, all of which seemed to inspire both the band and the audience to create a truly remarkable gig.
