    Year: 1990

    Runtime: 49 min

SIMPLY RED, with their soulful pop songs, will go down in history as one of the UK's biggest and most successful pop bands of the late eighties and early nineties. Formed in 1984, Mick Hucknall and co. released their debut album "Picture Book" in 1985, which went platinum, making SIMPLY RED one of that year's major success stories. Their following albums, "Men And Women" and "A New Flame" respectively, continued this success but it was the arrival of SIMPLY RED's fourth album "Stars", released in September 1991 that would change history forever.

    Simply Red

    Year: 2003

    Runtime: 1 hr 34 min

Simply Red are one of the most successful British acts of all time with global album sales in excess of 50 million. Both the band and Mick Hucknall as a solo artist have been frequent visitors to Montreux across their 25 year career. This concert, filmed in the summer of 2003, was part of the tour in support of their multi-platinum album “Home”. It features several tracks from that album, including many of their biggest hits and best loved album tracks. It’s a typically polished and sparkling Simply Red performance with Mick Hucknall in excellent voice and the band in fine form.
