Zappa Plays Zappa
Dweezil Zappa
Year: 2006
Runtime: 57 min
Dweezil Zappa has led an extended and industrious rockin teenage combo dedicated to re-acquainting the world with the sights and sounds of his father, Frank. They revive Franks music in a fresh context that is -- above all else -- true to the elder Zappas unique and impeccable sonic heritage.
The junior Zappas guitar craft is at once like his fathers, and yet hes mature enough to have already developed his own signature touch.
ZPZ travels with a fairly substantial ensemble. Joining Dweezil are core constituents Joe Travers, Pete Griffin, Jamie Kime, Aaron Arntz, Scheila Gonzalez, and Billy Hulting. Another of Dweezils primary tethers to his father's legacy are the artists who at one time or another passed through the 60s, 70s, or 80s bands that Frank fronted.

Live at Pompeii
David Gilmour
Year: 2016
Runtime: 2 hr 32 min
45 years after Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour filmed ‘Live At Pompeii’ in the legendary Roman Amphitheatre there, he returned for two spectacular shows in July 2016, part of the year-long tour in support of his No.1 album ‘Rattle That Lock’. The performances were the first-ever rock concerts for an audience in the stone Roman amphitheatre, and, for two nights only, the 2,600-strong crowd stood exactly where gladiators would have fought in the first century AD. The show includes songs from throughout David's career, solo and with Pink Floyd, including 'One Of These Days', the only song that was also performed at the band’s 1971 show, as well as songs from ‘Rattle that Lock’, and 2006’s ‘On An Island’. -
The Six Wives of Henry VIII - Live at Hampton Court Palace
Rick Wakeman
Year: 2008
Runtime: 1 hr 48 min
This spectacular 94-minute concert was recorded live with the Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra in 1975, at the Sydney Myer Concert Bowl in Melbourne Australia to a 30,000 audience. The concert opens with the greatest hits from Rick's biggest selling album The Six Wives of Henry VIII, followed by the complete 'Journey' and also includes hits from his then-new album King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. This is classic Rick Wakeman, one of the world's finest keyboard players, at the very pinnacle of his legendary progressive rock career. -

Live 30th Anniversary Concert
Wishbone Ash
Year: 1999
Runtime: 1 hr 36 min
The 30-year history of Wishbone Ash has hardly been smooth, with numerous personnel changes and gradually fading popularity since the band's most acclaimed album, Argus, was released in 1972. What you'll witness here, then, is an inspiring and altogether good-natured example of survival embodied by original Wishbone guitarist Andy Powell. Looking youthful at 50, his formerly long hair now shaved off altogether, Powell remains a virtuoso ax-man, matched by fellow ace Mark Birch (temporarily filling the shoes of the departed Ted Turner) to recreate Wishbone's signature twin-guitar sound. As the sole survivor of Wishbone's original lineup, Powell happily presides over the group's considerable legacy, epitomized here by outstanding performances of the Ash classics "Phoenix" and "Blowin' Free." The concert's a no-frills affair with an occasionally uneven mix, but the music comes through with clarity and gusto, reminding us that Wishbone Ash's unique blend of musicianship remains influential some three decades later. -

The Torture Never Stops
Frank Zappa
Year: 2010
Runtime: 1 hr 57 min
Frank Zappa's New York Halloween 1981 concerts were filmed Live at The Palladium. This 'thing' entitled "The Torture Never Stops” was created in its entirety by FZ from the original concert production and intended by the Artist as one of 3 Television Specials. This is the longest version of the three - the others, "You Are What You Is" and "Dumb All Over", having actually aired. Halloween was Frank Zappa’s favourite holiday, and New York was the site of Frank Zappa Halloween concerts for years! The billion and a half airings by MTV of the concerts (non-edited) followed on closely from the release of the double album “You Are What You Is” in September of that year on Frank Zappa’s own recently founded and thoroughly independent label, Barking Pumpkin. Much of the set list is drawn from that work. All Frank Zappa shows were unique experiences with Zappa on guitar and baton, leading his band on flights of improvisation and drawing ever more intense performances from them. “The Torture Never Stops” cements Zappa’s reputation as one of the most innovative and challenging composers and performers of the 20th century. -
Live at Soundstage
Yes
Year: 2003
Runtime: 55 min
The longest lasting and the most successful of the '70s progressive rock groups, the band YES comes together with their classic lineup (Rick Wakeman, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Alan White) celebrating their 35th year together. Captured at the Tsongas arena in Massachusetts, this concert is on the grand scale of past years with new stage designs by famed artist Roger Dean. The show opens with the band entering the arena to Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite." From that moment forward, Yes delivers an unforgettable performance including classics such as "Going for the One," "Your Move/All Good People" and "Yours is No Disgrace."
Midway through the set they scale things down a bit and perform dazzling acoustic versions of "Long Distance Runaround," "Roundabout," and "Owner of a Lonely Heart", among others. The concert culminates with a rousing rendition of "Starship Trouper." Howe and Wakeman's dueling solo's coupled with Anderson's powerful yet delicate vocals make for an unforgettable finale. -
