In addition to the enduring 1982 hit song "Heat of the Moment," to which the band is now and forever tied, and its equally great partner in crime, "Only Time Will Tell," Asia also pioneered a style of prog rock that put the emphasis on pop sheen rather than maze-like song structures lifted from bad classical music. During the 1980s and early '90s, prog rock acts like Yes, Genesis and Emerson, Lake & Palmer enjoyed tons of airplay and hit records. Unfortunately for the members of Asia -- Geoff Downes, formerly of Yes; John Wetton, formerly of King Crimson; Steve Howe, also a former member of Yes; and Carl Palmer from Emerson, Lake & Palmer -- they were unable to repeat the success of their self-titled debut with second record Alpha. From there, a "Ten Little Indians" scenario played out over the years until an entirely different band, led by Downes and replacement singer John Payne, was performing as "Asia with John Payne." This continued until 2008, when all four original members of the supergroup finally reunited and recorded Phoenix.

Live at Soundstage
Runtime: 54 minOne of the most loved bands in rock history, as well as one of the most commercially successful-with 50 hit songs in the U.S. alone, 18 gold records, a Grammy, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Chicago have maintained the unflagging devotion of millions of devoted fans throughout their 37-year career. It began with the goal of incorporating the diverse musical range of their hometown Chicago, and incorporating the big-band aesthetic that included horns which had been virtually left behind in the world of rock and roll, Chicago went on to create a sound that remains unparalleled in rock music. Incorporating rock as only one genre among the many that they drew from, the band courageously rejected the trappings of celebrity in order for the music to stand on its own. This program documents a live show that was broadcast on PBS in June of 2003 where they play many of their hits from throughout their long career, including "25 or Six to Four," "You're the Inspiration," "Saturday in the Park," and "Beginnings," among many others.

Live 30th Anniversary Concert
Runtime: 1 hr 36 minThe 30-year history of Wishbone Ash has hardly been smooth, with numerous personnel changes and gradually fading popularity since the band's most acclaimed album, Argus, was released in 1972. What you'll witness here, then, is an inspiring and altogether good-natured example of survival embodied by original Wishbone guitarist Andy Powell. Looking youthful at 50, his formerly long hair now shaved off altogether, Powell remains a virtuoso ax-man, matched by fellow ace Mark Birch (temporarily filling the shoes of the departed Ted Turner) to recreate Wishbone's signature twin-guitar sound. As the sole survivor of Wishbone's original lineup, Powell happily presides over the group's considerable legacy, epitomized here by outstanding performances of the Ash classics "Phoenix" and "Blowin' Free." The concert's a no-frills affair with an occasionally uneven mix, but the music comes through with clarity and gusto, reminding us that Wishbone Ash's unique blend of musicianship remains influential some three decades later.
Runtime: 1 hr 46 minJourney 2001 rocks with classic performances of their greatest hits, as well as songs from the "Arrival" album. Filmed in Las Vegas in December of 2000, the band roars back onto the stage in fantastic form.

Sum Of The Parts
Runtime: 1 hr 30 minThis is a feature-length documentary about Genesis - one of the most successful bands in rock history. And also one of the most vilified. A band that almost died in the mid-1970s with the loss of its leader ; it then survived a change of lead singer and style to storm the charts in the 1980s. Remarkably, its principle members developed successful solo careers in parallel with the band’s.
With full access to the key players, including Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins, the film recounts an extraordinary musical story .
They were British public school boys, whose experimental progressive rock band, led by Peter Gabriel, attracted for much of the 1970s a fervent, mainly young male, following. But then in the 1980s, the Phil Collins-led Genesis kicked into an altogether different, more pop, sound , attracting a massive following - including many young women fans . In the process, they became one the most successful bands in the world. Their 1986 album “Invisible Touch”, for example, produced five US top ten singles including number one with the title song.
