Alan Jackson's quiet country voice packs a heavy, passionate punch with its heartfelt inflections and Honky-Tonk soul. Since the 1980s, this New Traditionalist has been blending spiritual and studio alchemy to create new ways of filling beers with tears. From chart toppers like "Love's Got a Hold On You" to his rocking rendition of "Summertime Blues," it is evident that Jackson has an expansive vocal and musical range. Even his more compromised, Nashville-sounding songs manage to incorporate a strong sense of soul that seems piped in directly on his textured vocals.

Most recently, Billboard noted “From the birth of his son to the death of his father, Dierks Bentley has been through a lot lately, and his introspective new LP is proof. Pass The Jar
Zac Brown Band
Runtime: 1 hr 56 min"Not only is this a stellar recording of a nearly flawless performance, but it's also peppered with star-studded cameos and a few cover songs of the household-favorite variety. More importantly, it reveals Zac Brown and his band in their most comfortable and confident element — the live setting. Nothing against Brown's recorded material, but after hearing this October 30, 2009 concert from Atlanta, there's really no argument that Brown and band prefer the stage to the studio. The fawning ""Whatever It Is"" opens the set with rootsy instruments twanging and grinding under Brown's good ol' boy drawl, but you can almost hear the high-fives in the crowd following an excellent cover of the Band's ""The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."" They do similar justice to a barn-burning rendition of ""The Devil Went Down To Georgia."" Kid Rock lends his graveled growl on a Zippo-hoisting version of Marshall Tucker Band's ""Can't You See"" and it's great to hear Shawn Mullins pipe in on the Jimmy Buffett-esque ""Toes,"" though it's Little Big Town's lush harmonic panorama on the heartwarming ""Colder Weather"" that shines brightest here."

More than a decade later with nine blockbuster albums and a string of chart-topping singles under her talented belt Yearwood returns with her 10th album, Jasper County. The album will premiere in September 2005.
Yearwood joins the Soundstage ranks, bringing with her a few special guests. Launching the show is Billy Currington, who performs the title track to his forthcoming sophomore album, Doin Somethin Right, which will see its release in October 2005. The trio Sugarland follows him. Performing songs from 2004s Twice The Speed Of Light, the talented Jennifer Nettles, Kristen Hall, and Kristian Bush are a fine lead in to the highlight of the show. Yearwood takes the stage performing some of her finest hits, including her very first single, Shes In Love With A Boy, Xxxs And Oooos (An American Girl) from 95s Thinking About You, and the Diane Warren-penned How Do I Live.
