The Bridge School is an innovative organization educating children with severe speech and physical impairments. The Concert series began in 1986 when Pegi Young, co-founder of The Bridge School, enlisted her husband, Neil Young, and friends to play an all acoustic concert to benefit the Bridge School in its founding year. That concert, featuring Don Henley, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young started a tradition that has lasted to the present day. The 25th Anniversary Edition showcases some of the many highlights from the past 25 years, featuring 25 rare and acoustic performances from artists such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Bonnie Raitt, Metallica, The Who, and (of course) Neil Young. The program also features a documentary on The Bridge School as well as a behind-the-scenes look at The Bridge School Benefit Concerts. "The Bridge School Story" is a portrait of the school and its mission, as told by co-founder Pegi Young, Executive Director Dr. Vicki R. Casella, and the staff of The Bridge School. "Backstage at the Bridge School Concerts" explores what makes the concerts such a personally memorable experience for all participants: the artists, fans, concert staff, and most importantly, the students, graduates, and parents of The Bridge School.

  • Trovadores

    Various Artists

    Year: 2014

    Runtime: 1 hr 13 min

Troubadours is the story of four musical artists finding success, but nobody really knowing about it. Diego, Alvaro, Lorenzo and Julio all share the same town, an other-worldly and enigmatic city that protects them for days on end. Troubadours is a reflection on art and fame, unafraid of reaching into its insanity. It finds the adequate rhythm to portray the drives of different persons who have left everything behind them, and now keep forging ahead irrevocably. The magic to be found a gaze, the concealed beauty of an ordinary town or the sheer greatness of the insignificant are the overarching notions and ideas of this film.

    Violetta Zironi

    Year: 2018

    Runtime: 10 min

“I never heard anyone say that, and yeah, I know exactly what it means. It has to go in there, this has to be a song.” Every song has its own story, and we all think it’s a story we’ve heard before, but we haven’t. Songbook finds and captures these intriguing stories by pulling you into the process of writing and composing. Known for its pristine sound, cinematic 4k video and eye for detail, Songbook live-captured episodes emphasize the paramount importance of quality. It addresses the on-the-spot elements of blending song and location at the right moment. Both the magical location and remarkable music interaction will get the attention they deserve. Simply because Songbook isn’t just a live music session, it lives. This episode of Songbook features Italian singer-songwriter Violetta Zironi. The Correggio-born solo artist began writing songs at the age of 16 and found inspiration in country and bluegrass music throughout her musical development. Today, Violetta blends the Mediterranean melancholy conceived through her Italian roots with folk and elements of americana in intimate songs. She is known for a pure sound, often relying on her beautifully soft voice and guitar only.

  • Broke Reprised

    Will Gray

    Year: 2016

    Runtime: 1 hr 24 min

Broke* begins with the question, “Is it possible for an artist to break?” Following on-the-verge artist Will Gray through the recording of his debut album, “Honeysuckle Wine” (featuring production oversight by Grammy Award-winning producer, T Bone Burnett), Broke* chronicles the stories of artists and executives searching for ways to thrive in the face of today’s music industry challenges. The film digs beneath the clichés and standard story lines to reveal an industry struggling to find a new identity and an artist who’s simply trying to establish one. Featuring candid interviews with industry insiders and intimate profiles of some of the brightest emerging musical talent in the country. With appearances from John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Isaac Slade of The Fray, Seth Godin, and Buddy Miller. The question Broke* asks evolves throughout the film, as does Will’s definition of “breaking.” After Will’s passing in 2013, his team worked to tell the rest of his story, sharing his journey as an artist. Can a new act be “broken” and what does “breaking” mean to the industry, the artist, and the fan?

  • Pass The Jar

    Zac Brown Band

    Year: 2009

    Runtime: 1 hr 56 min

"Not only is this a stellar recording of a nearly flawless performance, but it's also peppered with star-studded cameos and a few cover songs of the household-favorite variety. More importantly, it reveals Zac Brown and his band in their most comfortable and confident element — the live setting. Nothing against Brown's recorded material, but after hearing this October 30, 2009 concert from Atlanta, there's really no argument that Brown and band prefer the stage to the studio. The fawning ""Whatever It Is"" opens the set with rootsy instruments twanging and grinding under Brown's good ol' boy drawl, but you can almost hear the high-fives in the crowd following an excellent cover of the Band's ""The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down."" They do similar justice to a barn-burning rendition of ""The Devil Went Down To Georgia."" Kid Rock lends his graveled growl on a Zippo-hoisting version of Marshall Tucker Band's ""Can't You See"" and it's great to hear Shawn Mullins pipe in on the Jimmy Buffett-esque ""Toes,"" though it's Little Big Town's lush harmonic panorama on the heartwarming ""Colder Weather"" that shines brightest here."
