Recorded in September of 1991, originally for Japanese TV, The Allman Brothers Band’s beloved Live At Great Woods showcases the classic American rock band reaching a new generation of audiences. This set – recorded before a crowd of nearly 20,000 adoring fans at the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts in Massachusetts – features a top-notch set of fan favorites, with a fiery acoustic mini-set included for good measure. • Live Legends

    Dr. Feelgood

    Year: 1991

    Runtime: 52 min

A straightforward release of the 1992 Live Legends VHS (less one track), Dr. Feelgood: Live necessarily catches the band as its long career prepared to wind down -- frontman Lee Brilleaux's worsening health and the seemingly eternal lineup changes had utterly transformed the quartet from the snarling monster that emerged two decades earlier. Still, the performance is nothing if not fiery, a breakneck ricochet that looks back across the group's entire career and serves up dramatic renditions of more favorites than you could shake a pint glass at: "As Long As the Price Is Right," "Back in the Night," "Roxette," "Baby Jane," "She's a Wind Up," "Milk and Alcohol" -- it's the Feelgoods' greatest hits, enacted within their greatest environment, a sweaty club full of die-hard fans.

  • 50 Years of the Fender Stratocaster

    Strat Pack

    Year: 2003

    Runtime: 1 hr

In 1954, Leo Fender gave the electric guitar a new sound and look that fully set it apart from its acoustic counterpart with the invention of the Fender Stratocaster, a solid-body electric axe with a revolutionary three-way pickup system and a modern, streamlined design that was like nothing else on the market at the time. Early rock 'n' rollers such as Buddy Holly and Dick Dale quickly embraced the Stratocaster, and since then it has become the guitar of choice for legendary players such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Keith Richards, Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, and dozens of others. The Strat Pack: Live in Concert documents a special concert held at London's Wembley Arena in the fall of 2004, in which a stellar lineup of great rock guitarists came out to say "Happy 50th Birthday" to the Stratocaster. Performers include Joe Walsh, Ron Wood, David Gilmour, Brian May, Albert Lee, Hank Marvin, and many more.

  • Live at Red Rocks: Day 3

    Widespread Panic

    Year: 2011

    Runtime: 1 hr 11 min

From the opening note of "Wondering" all the way through to the set closing "Conrad," the band owned the opportunity. Sandwiched in between the opener and a divine "C. Brown," a very leggy "Surprise Valley" overwhelmed the crowd with an almost-anthemic presence. "Kiss the mountain air we breathe" sounds good standing anywhere, but beneath "ship" and "Creation" rocks it evoked magic. All weekend the boys in the band had worn smiling faces, but early in the day it was easy to see that Sunday "Funday" was going to be enchanting.

Words can difficultly describe the bands energy on this last day. As the band masterfully wielded a "Bowlegged Woman" into "Lawyers, Guns and Money," it started to become apparent that the second set would be no ordinary picnic. Call them fan favorites, Halloween treats, illustrious tour gems, whatever you want, but don't expect to hear "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Knocking Around the Zoo" and "Walk On" in consecutive order too often. The only seemingly botched moment in the whole afternoon was a "Guilded Splinters" that by most standards was still great but just seemed to be lost for a bit before being revitalized by some

Set list for Part II of Day 3
