Demon Days
Exciting live performances that combine innovative technology and cutting edge artistry are nothing new for a band that constantly pushes the envelope like the Gorillaz. Gorillaz, the world's biggest two-dimensional band, performed Live at the Manchester Opera House November 1st through 5th, 2005. These very special shows blended live performance with 3-D animation and saw the band performing their "Demon Days" album in its entirety with a rotating cast of special guests who changed nightly. Guest musicians included De La Soul, Shaun Ryder from Happy Mondays, and UK hip hop artist Roots Manuva. Gorillaz co-creator/producer Damon Albarn was also on hand to help bring the "Demon Days" album to life. It's a milestone in the band's career and a memento of a unique and unforgettable event.
