Today's Soundboard Roundup

AXL/DC
TMZ photogs captured a photo of Guns N Roses’ Axl Rose leaving a recording studio just before the members of AC/DC (minus Brian Johnson, rumored to have been kicked out of the band.)  Is this a match made in heaven or a ride on the “Highway to Hell”?

Green Day provided the score to the musical, which is based on the album of the same title. The first performance will take place in April at Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield, NJ.

Cyndi’s Star
Cyndi Lauper’s hands are going to get a little dirty. The ‘80s singer has done more than have fun and on April 11 she’ll receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

A Solo Anniversary
It’s been 20 years since Phil Collins announced he was leaving Genesis (on March 28, 1996) to focus on his solo career. Both Genesis artists, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins, went on to have multi-grammy winning solo careers.

March Birthdays
There must be something in the stars about late March birthdays and musical talent.  Lady Gaga, Eric Clapton, Norah Jones and Celine Dion all celebrate this week.
