Nile Rodgers and Chic
Live At Montreux
Live At Montreux
This concert was recorded at Montreux in July 2004. The exceptional show features all the Chic hits including Everybody Dance, Dance Dance Dance (Yowsah Yowsah Yowsah), I Want Your Love, My Forbidden Lover, Le Freak and Good Times as well as a medley of the hit songs Rodgers wrote and produced for Diana Ross and Sister Sledge. Chic was formed in the late seventies by Nile Rodgers and the late Bernard Edwards. They dominated the disco era with huge hit singles and albums on both sides of the Atlantic. In addition Rodgers worked as a songwriter and producer for the likes of Sister Sledge (We Are Family), Diana Ross (I'm Coming Up), David Bowie (Let's Dance), Madonna (Like A Virgin) and many more. In the nineties the band reunited up until the sad death of Bernard Edwards in 1996, since when Nile Rodgers has continued to give audiences around the world "good times".
