Live in Montreux
Earth, Wind & Fire were as renowned for their lavish, spectacle-driven live performances as they were for their infectious blend of funk, soul, R&B, disco, jazz, rock, and African music. Formed in 1969 Chicago by songwriter Maurice White, the band went through as many lineup changes as they did musical genres, eventually disbanding in the 1980s and launching many a solo career (most notably, that of lead singer Philip Bailey). This concert captures Earth, Wind & Fire in a concert reunion at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1997.
